How to Annotate a Pdf with Adobe

Sometimes you want to add some notes or highlight some parts in your pdf file, in this case, you can follow these step;

1- Open your file in Adobe.

2- Click on Veiw>Comment>Annotations;

In the right hand of your windows, you can see annotations and behind that, you have different option to alter your text, we are going to explain some of them here;

How to Add a Sticky Note in Pdf;

1- Click on Veiw>Comment>Annotations

2- In the right-hand windows click on Add sticky note or click on Ctrl+6 as a shortcut.

3- Click on every place of your page that you want to add your sticky note.

4- Type your comments in the window which open.

5- Click on the outside of the window.

6- If you want to change the location of your comment, push your mouse on that sticker and drag it every place which you want.

7- If you want to see your note you can easily move your cursor on the sticky note.

How to Change the Properties of Your Note,

1- Right-click on it then choose Properties.

2- In this window, you can modify the appearance of your note, the colour of it, and opacity of that.

3- If you want to make these alterations to all sticky note which you will create, mark properties default too.

How to Delete Your Note,

right-click on the sticky note then click on delete.

How to highlight in pdf;

To create a highlight with a note in your pdf you should;

1- Click on, “Veiw >Comment>Annotations”.

2- Click on highlight text.

3- Highlight, every line or words which you want.

Click on somewhere outside of your highlighted part.

4- If you want to add the text, you can double click on that part, then one window will open, after that, you can write everything that you need.

5- Click on outside of the window. When you move the cursor on the highlight, you can see your text.

6- If you want to alter size or type of your text

You can right-click on the highlighted part.
Choose properties.

You can follow the sticky note method, which it was described before, for this part too.

7- If you want to delete it, you can right-click on your annotation and then click on delete.

How to Add a Text;

Sometimes, you want to write something in your pdf file.

1- if you like put your text in pdf without table

In annotation, bar click on “Add text” commend.

After you click your cursor in the place that you want to write your comment, one window will open you can choose font, size and other properties which you want.

Click on the outside of your comment.

2- If you want to change the properties or delete it, you can follow the method which it was described, before, in properties part.

3- If you want to create a commend with box click on commends>drawing markups>add text box in the right-hand bar in your adobe.

4- if you want to create a commend box with an arrow

-Click on Comments>drawing markups>add text callout.

Then you can follow the steps which we explained it before in Add text comment.

How to Delete Annotation;

If you want to delete all annotations in your pdf, you can go to;

FILE>Revert

This comment deletes all of your annotations.
