How to Add an Accent Mark in Word

Accent marks formally called diacritical marks, which are extra marks that appear above or below individual letters.
Here we are going to explain how to add them on the letters.
How to Add an Accent Mark on the letter;
1- Click on the page and place the cursor after the letter which you want to add an accent on it.
2- Click on Insert ribbon and then choose Symbol.
3- Click on More Symbols…
4- Click on symbol tab.
5- In the Font tab choose “Normal text”.
6- In subset part
If you want to find an accent mark easier you can choose Latin Extended-A or B.
7- Go and find the accents which you need, After that you can find them easily in recently used symbols part.
8- After you find your accent, Go to the Subset part and choose “Combining Diacritical Marks” Item.
9- By clicking on the insert key, you will see the accent added to your letter.

How to Add an Accent Individually to the text;
1- Click on the text which you want to add your accent.
2- Click on Insert> Symbol> More Symbols…
3- In Subset part choose “Spacing modifier letters”.
4- Choose your desired accent and click on Insert.
