How to Wrap Text in Word 2019

Sometimes after you insert a picture or table into your Word document file you want to alter the position of the texts near your picture or table. Here we are going to explain that.
How to Wrap Text Around Picture;
1- Place the cursor on the position which you want to insert the picture.
2- Click on Insert tab and click on Pictures.
3- Find your desired picture and insert it to your file.
Here you can see that the picture cover some part of your text.
4- For changing the position of your picture;

select the picture.

Click on Format.

Click on Position and choose your desired location.
5- For changing the position of your picture manually you can follow these steps;

Select the picture.

Click on Format and select Wrap Text.

If you want to change the position of your picture in your main text you can use “Square-Tight-Through-Top and Bottom” option.
Here we are going to explain each of them.
- square;
This option allows the text to wrap up next to the image and it also allows you to move your picture in the text.
- Tight;
When you choose this option, after you select the picture you can see the red border.
If you click on “Edit wrap point”, then you can drag the edge of the window and change the area which you want to limit your text, but the text can not enter into your picture.
- Through
This Option allows your text to flow in the middle of your picture.
For that, you should select the picture then click on “Edit wrap point”, click on the red line, one dot will be created, you can drag it into your picture by that, you will allow to your text to flow in the middle of your picture.
- Top and Bottom
This command places the text at the top and bottom of the image but never allows them texts to flow on the side of the picture.
How to Move Part of your Picture into Header or Footer;
By these commands you can move your picture freely in your page.
- “Behind the Text”
this command allows the text to cover your picture and also you can move your picture freely in your page.
- “Infront of the Text”
this command allows the picture to cover your text and also you can move your picture freely in your page.
How to Wrap Text around Table;
1- Insert your desired table in your text.
2- Select your table.
3- Right click on your table and choose “Table Properties”
4- In the “Text Wrapping” part choose “Around”, and click on Ok.
How to Wrap Text around Text;
1- Click on Insert tab and and creat a table with one column and one row.
2- Write your desired text into the table.
3- Change the clour, font or other characteristics of your text.
4- Right click on your table and select table properties.
5- In the table tab choose “Around” and click on “Positioning”.
6- In “Distance from surronding text” change all of the number to Zero.
7- Move your table into the body of your paragraph.
8- For Hiding the table right-click on the table and choose “No Border”.
How to Change the Default Setting.
1- Click on File.
2-Choose Options.
3- Click on Advanced.
4- In “cut,copy and paste” part go to “Insert page picture as”.
5- Choose your desired option, Here we are going to choose “Square”.
