How to Add Watermark to PDF

Sometimes we want to add, the watermark in a pdf file, it can be a text or image, here we want to explain it.

How to Create a Watermark on Pdf

For creating a watermark on a pdf file, you should do the following steps;

1- Click on View>tools>pages.

2- In the right side of your window in the Edit pages design, click on the watermark and then Click on Add watermark.

3- After that one window will open, here you can define the properties of the watermark;

  • In the up-left side of your screen, you can click on Page range option, in this part you can specify, the watermark will be shown in which page;

  • If you mark all pages you have the watermark in all pages

  • If choose the second one you can specify on which pages you want to print watermark.

  • In source windows you can specify text or images which you want to place in pages as watermark;

  • If you want to have text as watermark, you can write your text in the box in front of the text and choose the font type and the size of font and colour of it in this part.

  • If you want to add a picture you can choose File and then go and find your desired picture in your computer.

  • If you have a pdf file and you want to choose one page from it as a watermark, you can choose it and in pages section choose your desired page number and you can also change the size of your picture.

In absolute scale part, the good scale is between 25 to 30 per cent.

  • In the right side in the Preview window, you can see the preview of your file before print it.

  • In the Appearance section, you can rotate the watermark and specify the opacity of the watermark.

  • In the location part, you can define, watermark places on the text or behind the text.

  • In the Position, you can change the location of watermark on the page.

  • At the end in the up left side, you can save your setting, in the Save setting part in order to use it for the next time which you need.

4- Click on “Apply to Multiply” to transfer your watermark to the pdf file.

How to Modify Watermark;

1- Click on View>tools>pages>watermark.

2- Change the setting that you want and click on OK.

How to Remove Watermark;

1- Click on View>tools>pages>watermark.

2- Click on Remove…
