How to Remove Duplicates in Excel

There are different ways for removing duplicates in excel, here we are going to explain three of them.
How to Remove Duplicates in Excel with Remove duplicate command.
If you need the content of the table before removing the duplicates save it in other place because after deleting the duplicate you will lost them.
1- Click on the Data tab.
2- Select the table.
3- In the “Data Tools” part click on the Remove duplicate key.
4- Select the columns which you want to remove duplicated items from them.
5- Click ok.
6- you can see all the duplicated rows were deleted.
How to Remove Duplicates in Excel with Pivot Table.
1- Click on the Insert tab.
2- Click on the cell which you want to place the Pivot table on it.
3- Click on the Pivot table.
4- Click on the Table Range and select the table.
5- Click on Ok.
6- In the right hand in the Pivot table, you can see the content of the first cell of each columns.
7- Select them one by one and drag and drop them into the Row part.
8- Go to the Report Layout and select Show in the Tabular form.
9- Go to the Subtotal and select “Do Not Show Subtotals”.
10- Click on the Grand Totals tab and select “Off for rows and columns”.
11- Click on Report Layout and Click on “Repeat all Item labels”.
12- Now you can see Unique items in your pivot table.
How to Remove Duplicates in Excel with Power Query.
1- Click on the Data tab.
2- Select “From Table/Range”.
3- Select the table and click on Ok.
Your table was tranfered to the Power Query Editor.
Here we are going to explain two ways for removing duplicated rows.
First Method;

Select all the columns.

Click on the Remove Rows and Select Remove Duplicates.
- You can see all Duplicated rows were deleted.
Second Method;
-
on the top Left hand of the Power Query table Click on the table sign.

in the Droplist menu click on the Remove Duplicates.

on the top Left hand of the screen click on the “Close&Load”.

In the Droplist menu click on the “Close&Load”.

Now you can see, your table with unique items were transfered to your excel file.
