After you buy or download an app you may receive weekly emails or notifications which inform you about new features and news of that app, but sometimes this information would be bothering and you want to stop them. In this article, we are going to explain how to stop receiving emails and turn off notifications on Tidal iOS and Android and web client and desktop app and also how to manage tidal through the web client.
TIDAL sends emails to its users in order to inform them about various subjects including, new subscription offers, concerts, exclusive offers, music recommendations, shows, podcasts, documentaries, and newsletter. When you install the TIDAL app on your device, it starts to send you notifications which you can manage them by turning them on, off, or choose the type of notification you want to receive. You can choose to receive the notification by email, on your device, or both. Read the article below to learn how to manage the TIDAL notifications.
How to Unsubscribe from Receiving TIDAL Emails.
After subscribing for receiving emails from TIDAL, you can turn it off whenever you wish. One of the easiest ways to stop receiving emails is through unsubscribe option at the bottom of the TIDAL email. Follow the steps below to unsubscribe TIDAL emails.

Go to an email that is sent directly from TIDAL.

Scroll down to the bottom of the email.

Find the link for unsubscribe.

Click on the link.
Note that this request may take thirty days to come into effect and it will not be effective immediately.
The picture below is the bottom of the TIDAL email. As you can see there is the unsubscribe option. By choosing this option you will no longer receive emails from TIDAL.
How to Unsubscribe from Push Notifications on TIDAL iOS.
If you use iOS devices such as iPhone and iPad, you can manage the push notifications feature. Follow the steps below and use the image to turn on or off the notification. The showing style of the notification is also manageable in iOS devices:

Go to your Settings App.

Tap on the Notifications section.

Scroll down your apps to find the TIDAL.

Tap on the TIDAL app.

Turn on/off the Allow Notifications button.
By toggling the Allow Notifications button you can switch on or off this feature on your device. As you can see in the picture, in the ALERTS section you can choose the way that notifications appear on your device. You can also turn on/off the notifications sound or badges by toggling the related button.

How to Manage TIDAL Notifications Through Desktop App.
Another way to manage the TIDAL notifications is through desktop app. If you have installed the TIDAL app on your PC or Mac, this could be useful for you. Use the steps below to control the notifications you receive from email or the push notification system on your device:

Go to your Settings by clicking on the three-dot sign on the top-right corner of the menu bar.

Click on Account tab and scroll to find the Notification settings option.

Click on the Notification settings.

You will be redirected to the my.tidal.com website.

Here you can manage your notifications whenever you wish.
Note that turning off the receiving emails will not come into effect immediately and it may take thirty days to become effective.

How to Manage TIDAL Notifications Through Web Client.
If you do not have installed TIDAL app on your device and you want to manage your TIDAL account notifications, you need to go through the TIDAL Web Client. The procedure on Web Client is similar to the TIDAL desktop app. Follow the steps below:

Go to listen.tidal.com

Log into your TIDAL account.

Go to the Settings.
-
Click on Account tab and then scroll down the page.

Click on the Notification settings option.

You will be redirected to the my.tidal.com website.

Manage your notifications by marking or unmarking the boxes you see.
Look at the pictures below to complete the updating notifications procedure more easily. By clicking on the horizontal three-dot sign next to the profile image, a drop-down menu will appear. You need to click on the settings option on the list. you will enter to the settings page where you will see a menu bar consisting of three tabs which are Account, Streaming, and About TIDAL. In the Account tab, you need to find the Notification settings option by scrolling the page down (see the picture number 2). In the third picture you can see the my.tidal.com website where you can mark or unmark the types of notifications you want to receive. At the end you need to click on SAVE button.
