How to Prevent Word From Automatically Creating a Link
If you want to write the address of the website, without adding hyperlink in your text you should follow these steps;
1- Click on the File tab.
2- Click on the Option.
3- Click on the Proofing.
4- Click on AutoCorrect Options…
5- In the AutoCorrect dialogue click on the “AutoFormat As You Type”
6- Deselect the “Internet and network paths with hyperlinks”.
7- Click Ok.
How to Insert Hyperlinks For Words;
If you want to create a hyperlink for a word in your text and users were able to go to your desired website if they would click on that word, you should follow these steps;
1- Write your desired word.
2- Select the word.
3- Hold Ctrl and then click on the “K”.
4- write your desired web address.
5- Press Ok.
Now you can see your word as a hyperlink and if users hold Ctrl key and then click on it, they will be transferred to your desired page.

If you want to go to the page with clicking on the hyperlink you should follow these steps;
1- Click on the File tab.
2- Click on the Option.
3- Click on the Advanced tab.
4- Deselect the “Use CTRL + Click to follow hyperlink” box.
5- Click Ok.
How to Edit Hyperlink in Word
For editing Hyperlink you should follow these steps;
1- Right-click on the hyperlink.
2- Choose Edit Hyperlink.
3- Edit the Address and click on Ok.
How to Remove Hyperlinks in Word
For removing Hyperlink;
1- Right-click on the Hyperlink.
2- Select “Remove Hyperlink”
you can see the hyperlink was removed.
