How to Delete Content From Tidal Favorite List

sometimes you add contents such as artist, album, tracks to the favorite list of your device but after a while, you do not like them anymore and you need to delete them from your list, here we are going to explain in different devices such as i/os devices, android, and web client how you can delete artists, albums, and tracks from your favorite list.

TIDAL platform lets you to edit your favorite list, which is named My Collection in TIDAL, by deleting the content you have added. We have talked about deleting favorited playlists in the How to Manage TIDAL Playlist Content page. Go there if you want to delete or edit the playlists in your favorite list. Here we are going to see how to delete the favorited tracks, albums, and artists through different types of TIDAL apps including the iOS, android, and desktop TIDAL apps. Also, we are going to learn how to manage My Collection in TIDAL without having TIDAL app installed on our device.

How to Delete Favorited Tracks in TIDAL Using iOS Devices.

If you have the TIDAL app on your iOS-based device like iPad or iPhone, and you wish to remove the tracks that you have added them into your favorite list previously, follow the steps below. Note that when a track is favorited, you can see a heart icon next to the track. To delete the favorited tracks, follow the steps:

  1. On the right of each track there is a three-dot sign. Select the sign next to the favorited track that you want to unfavorite.

  2. Select and tap on the heart icon to remove.

As you can see, when you tap on the three-dot icon next to the track a pop-up menu will open (the second picture). The heart icon in the second picture is blue which indicates that the song is in your favorite list. By tapping on the blue heart or the Remove from My Collection option, the track will be deleted from your list.

How to Delete Albums in TIDAL Using iOS Devices.

Deleting albums from My Collection is a bit easier than deleting tracks. If you are using the TIDAL iOS app, follow the steps below and use the picture to remove albums from your favorite list:

  1. Tap and drag down the album cover photo to get access to its details.

  2. Select delete option.

As you can see in the picture below, by tapping on the heart icon or selecting the Remove from My Collection option, you can delete the unwanted album from your favorite list.

How to Delete Artists in Tidal Using iOS Devices.

To delete your favorited artists from the My Collection list on TIDAL iOS, you can follow the steps below.

  1. Tap on the artist you want to delete.

  2. There is a heart icon next to your favorite artists. tap on the heart icon to remove the artist.

Look at the picture below. Next to the artist’s name there is a blue heart icon which indicates that the artist has been added to your favorite list. By tapping on the heart icon, the artist will be removed from your favorite list.

How to Delete Favorited Tracks in TIDAL Using Desktop App.

If you have the TIDAL desktop app on your PC or Mac, and you want to remove the favorited tracks from the My Collection list, follow the steps below. Note that when a track is favorited, you can see a blue heart icon next to the track. To delete the favorited tracks, follow the instructions below.

  1. Select the three-dot sign on the right of the track you want to delete from your favorite list.

  2. Select the heart icon to remove the track from your favorite list.

In the image below you are able to see the blue heart icon we explained previously. Click on this icon to remove the unwanted track from your list.

How to Delete Albums in TIDAL Using Desktop App.

If you want to delete your favorited albums from My Collection, and you have the TIDAL desktop app, follow the instructions in conjunction with the picture below:

  1. Click and drag down the album cover photo to get access to its details.

  2. Select the heart icon to remove the album.

How to Delete Artists in TIDAL Using Desktop App.

When you go to an artist page on TIDAL through desktop app, you will be able to see a heart icon below the artist’s name. The blue heart icon as you can see in the picture below the instructions, indicates that the artist is in the My Collection section. To remove the artist from the list, follow the steps below:

  1. Choose and click on the artist you want to delete.

  2. There is a heart icon next to your favorite artists. Click on the icon to remove the artist.

How to Unfavorite Tracks on TIDAL Using Web Client.

If you do not have any types of TIDAL apps on your device, you can use TIDAL Web Client. Go to listen.tidal.com and sign into your account, then follow the instructions below. You can also use the provided picture:

  1. Select the three-dot sign in the right of the track.

  2. Select the heart icon to remove it from your favorite list.

How to Delete or Unfavorite Albums on TIDAL Using Web Client.

If you want to remove albums from My Collection through Web Client, follow the steps below:

  1. drag the album artwork down to get access to its details.

  2. Select the heart icon to remove it from your favorite list.

How to Delete or Unfavorite Artists on TIDAL Using Web Client.

To delete favorited artists using TIDAL web client, use the instructions in conjunction with the picture below:

  1. Choose the artist you want.

  2. Select the heart icon to remove it from your favorite list.

o NOTE: If you want to add content into your favorite list or remove them from the favorite list through the TIDAL android app, use the iOS related instructions. The editing procedure in the TIDAL iOS and android apps are the same.
