There are two methods for rimming a glass, here we are going to explain them.
At first, we should mention it, it is better only rim half of the glass and keeps half of the glass without rim It can give this option to your guests to choose, maybe they don’t want a mouthful of salt for one sip with something.
How to Rim a Glass with Lime for Margarita;
1- You need a Glass of wine and a slice of lemon.
2- Take a fresh lime and rub this lime right around the edge of the glass.
- Note;
To rim a glass the idea is that, you want to get the salt on the outside of the glass and not fill the inside of the glass with salt.
so only rub the outside of the glass not inside the glass.
3- Roll the Glass carefully on kosher salt.
Note;
It is important not to use iodized salt. Kosher salt or sea salt are appropriate for the margarita.
Sea salt tends to stick around the edge of the glass, while Kosher salt gives you a beautiful, delicate border.
4- Take a towel or cocktail napkin and go around the edge of the glass and make sure that is evenly coated around the glass.
How to Rim a Glass with Frozen Glass for Margarita;
1- Place your glass in the freezer.
2- Take your glass out when it completely frozen.
3- As it warms up, you will notice that condensation will start to form on the edge of the glass.
4- Now you can dip it right in the salt and the salt will stick to the glass so line around the edge.
5- It is better to rim just half of the glass. because you give this option to your guests or friends to choose whether they want a mouthful of salt for one sip or not.
