What is Microsoft OneDrive?
Microsoft OneDrive is a file hosting service that allows users to upload and synchronize files in the cloud and files can be accessed through a web browser or other local devices and it is possible to edit the documents from any device and by the one you permit. This service allows users to upload their files privately or publicly. You do not need a Microsoft account to access publicly shared files. This service offers new users 5 GB of free space.
It is also possible to buy more space. OneDrive is built using HTML5 technology and can upload files up to 15 GB in size. You can also put your uploaded files on your blog or website.
OneDrive is currently the most powerful cloud storage system and has the highest possible security.
To use OneDrive, all you need is a Microsoft account.
How to work with OneDrive

Search for the OneDrive app in the Google Play store and download it.

Sign in to your Microsoft account to review and share the stored files in OneDrive app.

To access another account that you have you can click on Add account from the Accounts and Settings option. You can also use OneDrive from your cell phone Office file to see your files and edit them. You can also switch to each account.

In the OneDrive Toolbar
New is for creating a file or folder.
Upload is for adding files to your OneDrive account.
Sort is to organize the files and folders.
View is to modify the files’ view.
Information icon is for going through the details of your files.
In the OneDrive navigation pane there are some options.
File refers to the place where you can find your stored files.
Recent refers to the files you saved or modified recently.
Shared refers to the files you or other people have shared.
Discover icon will show you the files you may like or need and those which are trending.
Recycle bin is where the deleted files are.
Shared libraries show the latest files in Teams and SharePoint.

If you have important files, it is recommended to use OneDrive to get a backup of them once in a while. You need to open the OneDrive cloud in the taskbar notification area. Then select More and then Setting. There is a Backup tab that you can manage your Backup time and folders.

By clicking on the search icon you can search for your saved files. You can type the name of the file or even a word of it in the search box. Next click on the file to open it.

To share the files to others and allow them to edit it you can click on the Share icon then check the Allow editing option to permit them to edit your documents. Afterwards. You should choose the way you want to share your file. You can share your files via these ways: Get a link, Email or Social network.
