Wash hands regularly;
wash your hands with soap and running water when hands are visibly dirty if your hands are not visibly dirty frequently clean them by using alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.
when should I wash my hands;
1- After coughing or sneezing.
2- When caring for the sick.
3- Before, during and after you prepare food.
4- Before eating.
5- When hands are visibly dirty.
6- After toilet use.
7- After handling animals or animal waste.
Practice respiratory hygiene;
we should cover mouth and nose with flexed elbow or tissue when coughing and sneezing, after that throw tissue into the close bin immediately after use, clean hands with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water after coughing or sneezing and when caring for sick.
Maintain social distancing
The new coronavirus can spread through respiratory droplets which are liquids, that may come out when we cough or sneeze. For this reason its very important to avoid close contact with anyone who has fever or cough or other respiratory symptoms. In practical terms WHO recommend keeping at least one-meter distance from a sick person. Also, you should avoid shaking hands, hugging or kissing people with these symptoms.
Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth;
Contaminated hands can transfer the virus from your eyes, nose and mouth to your body.
Mask and personal protective equipment;
In this situation WHO recommend wearing a mask: 1- If you take care of a person with COVID-19 symptoms 2- If you are coughing or sneezing, it’s very important to know how to use and dispose your mask properly and combine it with frequently hand-cleaning with water and soap and alcohol-based hand rub.
Rest or seek medical care;
If you feel unwell or if you have mild respiratory symptoms and no specific travel history stay at home and rest, If you have symptoms like fever, difficulty cough breathing seek medical care early and share previous travel history with your health care provider.
